Growing up as a Latina in the United States, Evelyn Hernandez always felt the tension between two worlds — the vibrant, color-saturated culture of her heritage and the muted, generic aesthetic of mainstream fashion. She searched for clothing that felt like her: bold, expressive, rooted in tradition but alive in the present. She couldn't find it.
So she made it herself.
TeeVibe started as a sketchbook full of ideas — marigolds, papel picado, hummingbirds, geometric patterns borrowed from her abuela's embroidery. Those sketches became designs. Those designs became t-shirts. And those t-shirts became a brand that women across the country are now wearing with pride.
